I am officially back! School is out for the summer which means I can now devote my time to blogging, exploring, and so much more!! All of this blogging stuff has been a bit of a roller coaster, but I want to personally thank you all for your support, positivity, and your flexibility! As you know, I am a growing spirit. My style and preferences grow and change with me. thediamonddays has a new look (again, sorry!) I want this to be a space where your awesome souls can come and free your minds of stress, to find inspiration, and just to have fun! I also want this to be a space where I can be creative, inventive and facilitate that inspiration for all of you. So, with that being said, welcome! New and improved, thediamonddays.
Exciting things are happening this summer! SimplyB Photography and I are collaborating to bring you thediamonddays! All of you know that a blog can't run without some kick butt photos, so I enlisted the help of the very talented Bailey Fidler to take on this summer with me! We have big plans coming to you throughout the summer! Expect weekly posts from us! I know, so exciting right? So enough talking! I'm so excited to bring you our first post of the summer!!
Asymmetric lines meet tattered jean jacket. For this look I paired a dress from Loft x Lou&Grey line, and paired it with an oversized destroy jean jacket from Pac Sun x Kylie Jenner. The dress is a tee shirt dress with asymmetrical, horizontal lines. The jacket is almost the length of the dress and contains rips, tatters, and writing on the back.
If you are familiar with Lou&Grey you know that they make some of the most comfortable clothes in the world. This dress is like wearing pajamas, I swear! It's soft, stretchy, and can be worn to work with a blazer, or slept in.
Diamonds, I am OBSESSED with this jean jacket! I have to give credit to my mom, who picked this piece for me. Yes, my mom might know me better than I know me! This jacket is completely destroyed, and it is absolutely gorgeous. What makes this one so special is its length. Some people shy away from oversized jackets because, while they are beautiful, they don't seem wearable for girls like us. This one totally is! Its totally grunge, so cozy, and its a statement piece that doesn't have to make a statement. So, so in love.
For accessories, I chose this navy Calvin Klein reversible tote and a simple beaded choker from Charming Charlie. Both simple, but elegant and perfect for this outfit.
I will link most of the things below. I could not find the jacket but I provided other options that will work just as well!
