Hi.

Welcome to my blog! Here are some fashion and beauty inspirations for you!

Fall Frenzy Outfit #1

Fall Frenzy Outfit #1

With chilly winds approaching and the leaves turning shades of red, it's only natural to get excited about Fall trends! Yes, of course it's still scalding hot right now, but you have to admit you can almost smell Halloween coming around the corner. If you're still shopping for shorts and tank tops...I'm sorry to inform you that it'll be a tough shopping trip! All the clothing stores are swapping their summer styles for their Fall Styles. YES, it is OKAY to shop for Fall starting now! The first sign of Fall clothing is overwhelming at first. You're thinking about how hot it still is while looking at sweaters. You're feeling like you love light blues, pinks, and vibrant greens but you're seeing jade, burnt orange, and maroon. This reaction is totally normal so don't freak out. Then, you find something that you Fall in love with (pun intended!) However, you're still thinking that it's too warm to wear jackets and long sleeves. Buy it! Love it! Stare at it until the first day of 60 degrees finally shows itself. The first Fall Styles you see will be the most relevant. After the initial rollout of Autumn clothing, the styles will only start leaning into the next season (winter = deep blues, Christmas greens, bright reds = NOT FALL COLORS.) You absolutely do NOT want to wear winter styles before it is time. I personally think that if you wear Fall Styles as long as possible, it keeps winter at bay. Obviously this is a myth, but every little ounce of hope counts!

Here's something that is NOT a myth:

Loft has just premiered their perfect Fall wardrobe. Shop it here. May I just say...OMG I'M OBSESSED AND I CAN'T STOP SHOPPING AND STARING WHILE I WORK! Whew...I'm glad I finally let that off my chest. Moving on...Sweaters in every shade you can think of, long sleeved silky t-shirts, dark washed jeans, burnt orange and military green jackets (long yearning sigh). So, since I was having such a hard time deciding, I chose one of Loft's many options...a shirt dress. They're so in right now, and they are flattering to everyone! The loose fit and the linear buttons bring out all your best qualities. As many of you know, my favorite color is blush. Can you spot it in my dress? Blush is more of a Spring color (honestly who follows fashion rules perfectly, am I right?) but since Loft is crafty and brilliant, they mixed blush and maroon to make the perfect fall concoction. Maroon is THE color to wear this Fall, so grab some any way you can! Since it was still hot during this shoot (thanks Maddie(: ) I wore some of my cheap gladiators. Hues of brown and neutral went well with this Fall creation. As for jewelry, the pattern is so pretty, but it's also very busy. I thought minimal jewelry would suffice. My golden key necklace seemed perfect. Here's a little secret...the key does sport a maroon pattern of its own, so basically I made a little tiny pattern mix! Pattern mixes don't always have to be drastic. If you're timid about mixing, try something like this to get you started!

I'm wishing all of you Diamonds fantastic luck in your Fall Frenzy shopping! It's easy to spend loads of money, but here are some ways to keep the spending low:

1. Take inventory of the Fall clothing you already own and can wear again this season.

2. Only buy things that you know you WILL wear at least 5 times this season, and you'll carry it over to next year.

3. Make a list of wants and needs. Check your needs off first, then go back and minimize your wants and treat yourself here and there.

I want to keep up with all your Fall adventures! Email me at thediamonddays@gmail.com or leave a comment down below telling me about your Fall find! Happy Autumn Diamonds, and Sparkly Days:)
